STUDY HOUR

Texts of the Sunday

 

Pastor Matt will be teaching from the texts assigned for that weekend he does not use for his sermon for Bible Study. This gives an opportunity for everyone to jump in anytime and learn from God’s Word together! Please feel free to join us at 8:45am on Sunday mornings in the sanctuary before worship and join us on a journey to allow God to shape us into His ways and His love!

Children's Sunday School

 

Children's Sunday School starts at 8:45am. Older children meet in the Library and younger children meet in the youth room.

 

Our children's ministry is here to support parents in the role of creating a foundation of faith with their children.

 

Handbells

Handbells meet after Worship Service every Sunday. We would love for you to join us. Stop on by if you have any questions!

 

GROUPS and CLASSES

Women's Bible Class

Our Women's Bible Class gathers on Tuesday Evenings at 7:00pm In-Person in the Library.

 

As we continue to come together on a weekly, basis, we support one another and grow in our faith. We study the Bible, but we also share in the lives of one another as we grow in God's Word.

 

Open to ALL - we invite you to join us whenever you can and find the grace and compassion given us in Christ.

Men's Bible Study

The Bible, Brothers and Beer!

You are invited to join our new men’s Bible study, where we will discuss Biblical topics that apply to present day issues and struggles.

Men's Group

 

Men's Group meets at Panera Bread, 2512 Waukegan Road, Glenview, IL 60025 at 10:00 am on Wednesdays. We get together and talk golf, football, argue about baseball, and solve the problems of the world (or think we could, if only...). Come and enjoy some lively conversation and maybe a bite of breakfast or just a cup of coffee. We'd love to have you join us and share more opinions (because we just can't seem to get enough)!

Youth Group

 

Our Youth Group comes together for meetings and activities throughout the year. We also are planning some special events and trips that will enliven your faith and help you grow in Christ.

 

We'd love to have you join us and participate in the many ways we seek to build relationships.

Mom's Group

 

Mom's Group meets every 2nd & 4th Monday here at Immanuel Lutheran Church where Mom's can connect, find encouragement, support, practical ideas, and get help. Click on the button below to download the list of times and Mom's Group Events for each meeting.

ZOOM Bible Study

Kit Lenser will be leading us in Online Bible Study every Thursday at 1:00pm. All are welcome to join!

NURSERY

Nursery service is available from 8:30 - 9:45am for those who need care for their children while attending Bible Study in the Sanctuary. The Nursery is led by Megan Edelstein, a certified teacher here at Immanuel Early Childhood Center, and is available for children from 6 weeks to 4 years of age.

SPORTS

PICKLEBALL

 

If you love Pickleball, you are in luck! Pickleball takes place on Mondays and Thursdays at 7:00pm, and on Saturdays at 9:00am in our full-size gymnasium. Don't worry if you don't know how to play, we are more than willing to teach you. If you're curious, come on by and join the fun!

 

VOLLEYBALL

 

If you're interested in playing a friendly game of Volleyball, don't hesitate to stop on by and check us out. We play every Wednesday at 7:00pm unless there is an event for the Church or Early Childhood Center taking place in the gym that night.
