MISSION & VISION

VISION STATEMENT:

ASKING OURSELVES THE QUESTION, "HOW CAN I HELP OTHERS EXPERIENCE CHRIST?"

The overarching Vision for the next 5 years (2023-2028) is to be continually asking ourselves the question, "How Can I Help Others Experience Christ?"

 

In alignment of all Ministries of Immanuel Lutheran Church, we focus on this same question.

 

The Two Page Plan and associated Ministry Action Plan for each of the Three Keystone Ministries clearly identify the Strategy that is being pursued to reach each of the Annual Goals.

 

The Three Keystone Ministries at Immanuel are:

+ Music/Worship Ministry

+ Family Life Ministry

+ Open Arms Christian Child Development Center

Encouraging one another in Faith, by Growing in God’s eternal Word, and Sharing the Love and Grace of Christ.

Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church will be an active congregation with all members engaged in, and excited about GOD'S word; we will be a place where the Holy Spirit encourages all members to fulfill our MISSION and implement the following VISION that God has for our congregation.

 

To Encourage one another in Faith, we will…

• Support our members and neighbors through prayer, ministry, and service.

• Make purposeful connections to strengthen and grow spiritually.

 

To Grow in God’s eternal Word, we will…

• Facilitate creative and relatable worship to encourage and engage gifts and talents.

• Actively share our faith with our members and the community through small group ministries.

 

To Share the Love and Grace of Christ, we will…

• Unite our members, Open Arms staff and Open Arms families so that, together, we are led by the Holy Spirit in projects to serve our community and to engage in Christian fellowship.

• Always keep our eyes on the cross, forgiving one another as GOD, for CHRIST'S sake, has forgiven us.
