WHERE RELATIONSHIPS MATTER

A Ministry of Immanuel Lutheran Church

1850 CHESTNUT AVENUE, GLENVIEW, IL 60025

WHO WE ARE

Open Arms Christian Child Development Center is a ministry of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Glenview. We are committed to providing safe, educationally excellent, family centered child development rooted in Christ-like love. We are called to serve our community. It begins with a commitment to having an excellent staff. At Open Arms, each child is guided to develop his/her potential in every aspect of life within an encouraging and nurturing environment. We operate our center assuming that each child is an individual and must be allowed to grow and learn at his/her own rate and to develop a healthy self-image. At Open Arms, we will help each child to grow spiritually, emotionally, physically, socially, and intellectually.

School Entrance Renovations

Here are a few photos of the renovation to our school entrance. We will update these photos regularly to show you the progress!

Christ-centered Learning

Christ modeled what education, love, and relationships should look like, and so, we lead by His perfect example. (1 John 4:7)

Supporting our Families

The Lord has entrusted children to parents as a “heritage from the Lord” (Psalm 127:3) to be treasured as a gift from Him. We uphold that a family’s highest calling is to provide for their children’s spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being.

Relationship with Staff

Our loving teachers help children learn by providing a safe and nurturing environment that is inquiry based and explorative. It is our desire to provide authentic experiences for each child, in all of our classrooms, from our infants to our Kindergarten.

Enrichment

We invest in the holistic development of every child which includes spiritual, social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and creative development.  Art, Music, Social Emotional Learner (SEL), Library, Spanish are offered weekly and are included in the tuition.

PICKLEBALL

If you love Pickleball, you are in luck! Pickleball takes place on Mondays and Thursdays at 7:00pm, and on Saturdays at 9:00am in our full-size gymnasium. Don't worry if you don't know how to play, we are more than willing to teach you. If you're curious, come on by and join the fun!
