How can I get Tuition Information?
Tuition varies from year to year and is dependant on which classroom your child will be enrolled, as well as how many days a week they will be attending. If you wish to find out our tuition information for your child's potential classroom, please call Ms. Sarah at (847) 724-6092 or email her at OADirector@OpenArmsGlenview.org.
DO WE OFFER FULL-TIME AND/OR PART-TIME CARE?
We offer 5 days a week, 3 days a week, or 2 days a week. We ask for families considering the 3 or 2 days a week option, that consistent days are kept (for example every Monday and Wednesday). We do offer Half-Day from 7:00am to 12:00pm. Lunch provided if needed.
Kindergarten and Junior Kindergarten are ony available for 5 days a week, but we do offer a before and after school care option to allow for a full day of care.
HOW ARE MEALS PROVIDED AT OPEN ARMS?
Open Arms meals are catered by Food2You. All children that eat table food (approximately age 12 months) are provided meals from this service. We also offer two snacks; one snack in the morning and one in the afternoon. All food is factored into the price of tuition. We also supply whole and 2% milk once your child is 12 months of age. For infants not eating table food, we ask parents to bring in formula/breast milk, cereal, and pureed foods.

ARE WE ACCREDITED? LICENSED?
From 2024 to 2029 we hold Accredidation through the National Lutheran Schools Accredidation Association. Open Arms is licensed through the State of Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. Our license is located at the entrance of our builidng.
HOW DO WE SECURE OUR FACILITY?
The entire facility at Open Arms remains locked at all times. When you enroll your child you will receive a door key fob to be used on the key pad located by the front door. That fob will allow you access to our building during Open Arms hours. We sign each child in using our Brightwheel system. This tracks were the children are throughout the day as well as when they are signed into and out of the building.
Our staff are trained annually with reminders and meetings on emergency situation drills. These drills include fire, tornado, medical emergencies, lockdown, suspended schedules, and active shooter. Please note that lockdown, suspended schedules, and active shooter drills are not practiced while the children are in the facility.
